Perfect for stoney showers and low-key hangs, this week's mix features a cool combination of hypnotic beats, silky synth, and infectious melodies. Nitemayor's contagiously catchy debut "Vampire," kicks things off with mesmerizing vocals by a mysterious former pop star and some killer, killer sax (pun obvi intended, check out the video for even more fun). Beats continue with Hoodie Allen and Meghan Tonjes offering blunt questions over an old-school bounce, reminding us what all the hard work is supposed to be about. Up next, Kill J and Nao keep the #doyou vibes alive before the Biebs brings it back for some mid-mix lovin'. Bad Gal Riri follows with "Same Ol' Mistakes," a Tame Impala cover that truly is better than the original (in my humble opinion). So light one up in both their honors and enjoy the second half which includes spacey sweet sounds from Abra and Big Grams, alt-r&b masters I've been obsessing over for months, as well as standout new tracks from both Santigold and Kendrick Lamar.
