MTT VOL. 2 : THIRST

This week's mixtape dives right in with classic 90's boner jams from Toni Braxon and Next, before The Voice's Sugar Joans slows it down with some of the sexiest thirst I've heard in recent history. In case you're unfamiliar, her voice is like woah. Perfect foreplay for dvsn's "Too Deep," with sounds so sultry, they don't need no curse words or explicit references to radiate NSFW into the universe on this one. Next, Selena Gomez erradicates all Disney remindings with help from the ever fine, A$AP Rocky inspiring steamy showers and bra-less floor rolling around the world, (I'm sure). On the two tracks that follow, Pretty Sister and Miley Cyrus cut with all the coy bullshit and remind us that sometimes you just gotta say what you want, like "Come to L.A. and fuck me,"/"Don't you think it's time to get it on?" Plus if it's sung over a satiny smooth, (in Miley's case, Neptune produced) beat, how can one refute? Ariana Grande's "Let Me Love You"  keeps the bold sensuality going, with the bonus of a Weezy verse that features the word "thot," a term that always brings a snicker to my face. Things come full circle, as we wrap things up with a another pair of sexual throwback treasures, this time from R&B legends Usher Raymond (aka my future baby daddy) and Keith Sweat.
